Bowmanville Now Has Local Public Transit

From Tom Box: “Bowmanville now has a local transit service. There are just two routes, with 30-minute service at “rush hour” and hourly at other times (no Sunday service).

The service doesn’t connect with other local transit systems (except via GO), but Bowmanville monthly passes are valid on Oshawa and Whitby buses, too.

This isn’t the first local transit in Clarington, as Oshawa Transit’s King St. bus route was exteneded eastward into Courtice a few years ago.
