More Richmond/Victoria Progress
James Koole writes: “I noticed today (October 24) that they swept the new rails along Richmond St. clean and then this afternoon, a CLRV with white roll-signs came south on Church where a construction person manually set the switch, and proceeded through the switch westbound on Richmond then north on Victoria back to Queen and to places unknown. The Victoria section from Richmond south to Adelaide is laid, but as of this afternoon, the concrete hasn’t been poured to get things to street level. Also of note, the grade of the new tracks on Richmond appears to be a couple of inches lower than the southbound tracks that remain from before - I assume they are going to remove that trackage over the next weeks as they reconstruct the road bed and sidewalks.”
