Rallying Around the TTC

Those of you who have been upset about the chronic underfunding of the TTC by all levels of government now have a chance to speak out. The Rocket Riders transit users group has organized a rally for Tuesday, November 12 at 7 pm in the Jane Mallett Theatre at the St. Lawrence Centre on 27 Front Street East. As budget time approaches for the City of Toronto, this is your opportunity to show that effective public transit deserves to have as high a priority as any other service that City Hall provides. The TTC has contributed far more than its fair share towards offsetting the City’s budget shortfalls, and this year it has to stop.
