From the Rocket Riders bulletin: “The city is rapidly moving ahead in planning for the future of the St. Clair streetcar route. This week area Councilors are assessing community input, staff recommendations and the various options. In late January there will be a 3 hour workshop on evaluation criteria at St Mathews Church. In February there will be a 2nd phase of community hearings(evaluation). By Spring 2004 the plan should already be decided.”

“Therefore it is critical that RR’s St. Clair Committee do it’s best to bring transit riders to the meetings and call their local Councillors. We will need dedicated volunteers this January. Remember, it’s up to us because we are the only pro right of way group currently organizing in favour of transit users.
