Bike racks on TTC buses?

This week’s Commission meeting promises a full slate, in part to make up for last month’s meeting cancellation. One of the items to be discussed, deferred from last month, is a proposal for a pilot project to install bike racks on TTC buses on several routes. If approved, the project would see racks installed by July on 98 Orion V and Orion VI buses operating out of Wilson Garage, and would result in 6 accessible routes becoming accessible to bicycles as well: 7 Bathurst; 29 Dufferin; 47 Lansdowne; 98 Willowdale-Senlac; 161 Rogers Road; and 310 Bathurst.

Other items for discussion include new pass vending machines, an update on the GTA Smart Card initiative, and an outline of the 2005 Service Improvements report (posted here in our archives as a PDF (Original file here)).
