Strike Watch: They're Still Talking

The Toronto Star dishes up the latest on the TTC talks, not that there is much to serve. The two sides have been negotiating under “extended hours” in the face of a Wednesday strike deadline. A news blackout agreed to by both sides is keeping reports to the media at a minimum.

CablePulse24 suggests that, if there is a strike, it would take affect at 12:01 a.m., Thursday morning.

Amalgamated Transit Union Local 113 has pledged to continue working until at least Wednesday. Whether or not they continue depends on whether union and management reach a deal, or whether the talks remain productive. Keep an eye on Pulse24, the Toronto Star, the CBC or this website for further updates when they happen.
