Queen East Enters Phase 6 on June 6

The TTC has updated its web page on the Queen East trackwork. The project, which has progressed faster than expected, has been altered to provide shuttle-bus service on Queen Street through the affected area. Service on the temporary shuttle to Victoria Park station, 13 Neville Park, will end after the morning rush hour of June 6 and buses will travel west from Neville Park to loop via Coxwell and Eastern Avenue. This shuttle service will also run all night, supplementing the 301 Queen night car service which will continue to turn back at Kingston Road and Queen. The 143 Beach Express bus resume its normal route to Neville Park loop.

The tracks on Queen East are not yet ready to accept streetcars, so 501 Queen cars will continue to use Kingston Road until Sunday, June 19… just in time for trackwork to begin on Queen between Dufferin and Dovercourt the next day. The TTC has more details here and here.
