Two Minutes of Silence to Remember London's Victims

TTC to remember victims of London attacks with a two-minute moment of silence on the Subway/RT

TORONTO, July 13 /CNW/ - The TTC will halt subway service tomorrow morning at 7 a.m., for a two-minute moment of silence, to remember those killed and injured in the terrorist attacks in London, England on July 7th.

The following announcement will be made immediately before the two-minute pause: “Attention TTC customers, one week ago today, over 50 people lost their lives, and hundreds of others suffered serious injuries, the result of terrorist attacks in London, England.

“To remember those who lost their lives and were injured, the TTC will halt subway service for a two-minute moment of silence.”

Subway and SRT cars will be held at station platforms during the moment of silence.

Service will resume at normal levels immediately following the observation of the two-minute moment of silence.
