GO, TTC Remembers the Veterans

This Friday, in honour of Remembrance Day, the TTC will bring all of its vehicles to a stop at 11 a.m. for two minutes of silence, according to a TTC press release. Buses and streetcars will stop where they stand, while subways and SRT vehicles will proceed to the next station before stopping.

GO Transit will allow veterans to ride free on Friday, with one companion, so long as the veterans wear or carry something to identify themselves as veterans. Immediate family members of veterans may also ride free, as long as they carry proper identification.
