Avenue Road buses rerouted for two weekends



The City will be constructing pedestrian crossovers at the intersection of Avenue Road and St. Clair Avenue West from November 17 to 19 and from November 24 to 27.

The TTC will split its regular 5 Avenue Road route so that buses will avoid the construction from 10 a.m. on Friday, November 17 until 7 a.m. on Sunday, November 19 and from 7 p.m. on Friday, November 24 until 7 a.m. on Monday, November 27.

Buses on the northern route will run from Eglinton Station along their regular route until they reach Avenue Road and Heath Street West. They will then divert along Heath, Yonge Street and Pleasant Boulevard to the lower terminal at St. Clair Station.

Buses on the southern route will run from the lower terminal at St. Clair Station,proceed eastwards along Pleasant Boulevard and then follow Avoca Avenue, Rosehill Avenue, and Balmoral Avenue, returning to their regular route at Balmoral and Avenue Road.
