GO extends weekend train service to Oshawa

GO will extend weekend train service to Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa Stations beginning tomorrow, Saturday, December 30.

As the same time, it will cancel all weekend and holiday bus trips between Pickering and Whitby Stations. All weekend and holiday Newcastle bus trips that connect with Lakeshore East trains will now connect at Oshawa instead of Pickering.

GO will also cancel the weekend and holiday eastbound train that leaves Union Station at 6:13 a.m. A bus trip will instead leave Union Station at 6:20 a.m., run express to Pickering, and then serve Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa stations before making all stops to Newcastle.

A new daily eastbound bus trip will leave Union Station at 1:20 a.m., and will run express to Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa, arriving at 2:21.
