Pearson's Terminal 2 closes; TTC revises services

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority will close Terminal 2 at Lester B. Pearson International Airport at 12 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30.

The Toronto Transit Commission will revise the routing for all of its services to the airport. TTC buses on all airport routes will only serve Terminals 1 and 3, in that order. With this change, the buses will no longer serve the shuttle bus stop on the airport roadway above Airport and Jetliner Roads.

TTC routes serving the airport are: 58 Malton, 192 Airport Rocket, 300 Bloor-Danforth Blue Night and 307 Eglinton West Blue Night.

On December 30, 2006, GO Transit rerouted buses travelling through the airport on its route between Brampton and York Mills and Yorkdale Stations. GO buses now only serve Terminal 1.

Mississauga Transit’s 7 Airport route also only serves Terminal 1.

Pacific Western, which runs Airport Express buses between downtown Toronto and the Airport, has not updated its website schedules to reflect the closing of the terminal, but will likely do so shortly.
