Revising routes

11 Bayview

All buses on the 11 Bayview route during the afternoon peak period on Monday to Friday and the early evening on Saturdays will operate on the 11 (Davisville Station to Steeles) branch. During the afternoon peak period, the TTC will improve service north of Sheppard Avenue from every 26 minutes to every 15 minutes. The service between Sheppard Avenue and Davisville Avenue will change from every 13 minutes to every 15 minutes.

During the early evening on Saturdays, the TTC will improve service north of Sheppard Avenue from every 32 minutes to every 16 minutes, but will not change the 16-minute service south of Sheppard Avenue. With this change, the TTC will remove service from the on-street loop along Hawksbury Drive and Bayview Mews during the afternoon peak period on Monday to Friday and the early evening on Saturdays.

The late evening service on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays will not change. Buses will operate only as far north as Sheppard Avenue and will continue to loop via Hawksbury Drive and Bayview Mews.

96 Wilson

The TTC will shorten the west end of the 96C (York Mills Station to Islington via Albion Road) branch for a trial period to improve the reliability of service. Beginning Monday, February 19, weekday, peak-period buses on the 96C branch will end their route at Thistledown Boulevard, and no longer operate to Islington Avenue. TTC buses operated on the on-street loop along Barkwin Drive and Wardlaw Crescent for the last time today, February 16, 2007. Monday will be the first weekday that TTC buses have not served Barkwin and Wardlaw since September 3, 1963. The TTC will not change service levels and will rename the branch 96C (York Mills Station to Thistledown via Albion Rd).

124 Sunnybrook

On a trial basis, the TTC will eliminate all service on the 124A branch between Lawrence Station and Sunnybrook Hospital. Buses on this branch run westbound from Sunnybrook along Dawlish Avenue and northbound along Mildenhall Road in morning peak period Mondays to Fridays. Buses on this branch run southbound to Sunnybrook along Mildenhall and eastbound along Dawlish in the afternoon peak period Mondays to Fridays.

The last TTC buses operated along this branch today, Friday, February 16. Monday, February 18 will be the first weekday since March 30, 1954 that TTC buses have not served Mildenhall Road. On and after Monday, all buses on the 124 Sunnybrook route will only run on Lawrence and Bayview Avenues between Lawrence Station and Sunnybrook.

311 Islington Blue Night

The TTC is changing the north end of the route to an on-street loop northbound along Islington Avenue, westbound along Steeles Avenue West, through the Steeles/Kipling Loop, southbound along Kipling Avenue, eastbound along Finch Avenue West, and then southbound along Islington for a trial period. With this new routing, the TTC introduces overnight service to Kipling, between Steeles and Finch, but removes southbound overnight service on Islington between Steeles and Finch.
