The City of Toronto and the Toronto Transit Commission are beginning the next phase of the project to replace the streetcar tracks, reconstruct a bridge and repave the roadway on Dundas Street between Howard Park and Broadview Avenues. The project began in late February and will continue until mid-November.
Starting Monday, April 2 until early June, the City and TTC will begin replacing tracks on Dundas Street, between Victoria and Bathurst Streets.
The TTC will divert streetcars on the 505 Dundas route both ways along College, Carlton and Church Streets. It will not replace streetcars with alternate transit service on Dundas between College and Church.
In the east, the TTC continues to divert streetcars on the 505 Dundas route both ways along Parliament Street and Gerrard Street East. The TTC has not replaced streetcars with alternate transit service on Dundas Street East between Parliament Street and Broadview Avenue. 504 King streetcars continue to serve Broadview Avenue between Gerrard and Dundas Streets East.
From Dundas West Station, along Dundas Street West, College Street, Calrton Street, Church Street, Dundas Street East, Parliament Street, Gerrard Street East and Broadview Avenue to Broadview Station.
