The City of Toronto and the TTC will close the intersection of Dundas and Yonge Street this weekend, as part of their ongoing work to replace the streetcar tracks and reconstruct Dundas Street.
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday, April 27, the TTC will divert buses on the 97 Yonge regular and the 320 Yonge overnight routes.
Southbound buses will operate on their regular routes to Yonge and Gerrard Streets, then divert westbound along Gerrard Street West, southbound along Bay Street and eastbound along Queens Quay West to Yonge Street.
Northbound buses will operate along their regular routes to Yonge and Richmond Streets, then divert westbound along Richmond Street West, northbound along Bay and eastbound along Gerrard before returning to their regular routes.
Ongoing work on another project at the south end of Yonge Street requires the southbound Yonge buses to continue south on Bay Street between Adelaide Street and Queens Quay.
The diversion ends at 5 a.m. on Monday, April 30.
