On Saturday, May 26 only, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Town of Markham will close Bur Oak Avenue from Morning Dove Drive to Gas lamp Lane for the Shops of Cornell open house. Westbound buses on YRT’s 18 Bur Oak route will detour from their regular route at Bur Oak and White’s Hill Avenue, travelling westward along White’s Hill, northward along Ninth Line, eastward along 16th Avenue and then returning to their regular route at Bur Oak and 16th. Eastbound buses will reverse this routing

Starting immediately and until further notice, a City of Vaughan project to replace watermains and repave the roadway on Woodbridge Avenue will affect transit service. Westbound buses on YRT’s 10 York University-Woodbridge and 11 Woodbridge routes will operate along their regular route to Woodbridge and Clarence Street, then detour northward along Clarence, westward along Meeting House Lane and southward along Kipling Avenue and then resume their regular route at Kipling and Woodbridge. Eastbound buses are not diverting.
