TTC restores streetcar service to parts of Dundas Street

Streetcars will again roll along Dundas Street between Ossington Avenue and Bathurst Street and between Bay and Church Streets, starting Monday, June 11.

Starting Monday, eastbound streetcars on the 505 Dundas route will operate from Dundas West Station eastward along Dundas Street West and College Street, southward along Ossington, eastward along Dundas Street West, northward along Bathurst, eastward along College Street, southward along Bay, eastward along Dundas Street West and East, northward along Parliament Street, eastward along Gerrard Street East and northward along Broadview Avenue to Broadview Station. Westbound streetcars will reverse the routing.

The City of Toronto and TTC project to reconstruct the tracks and roadway along Dundas began this spring and will continue until November. The TTC will further divert streetcars as the project progresses. For example, the TTC will divert streetcars during the long weekend from June 29 to July 3, when the TTC and City expect to reconstruct the tracks in the intersection of Ossington and Dundas.
