Police and fire officials have closed Highway 407 between Bramalea Road and Highway 27 due to visibility problems resulting from smoke from a major fire in South Brampton.
The closure may delay buses on GO Transit’s 46 Highway 407 Westservice as long as 15 minutes later than their scheduled times. Check GO’s website for updates, or call 416-869-3200 or 1-888-GET ON GO (438-6646) for updated information.
The fire may also disrupt local transit service on Brampton Transit (Call 905-874-2999) and Mississauga Transit (Call 905-615-INFO (4636)).
