The City of Toronto will close Bay Street, north of Adelaide Street West this evening, Thursday, June 14 to accommodate participants in the “Bay Street Rat Race”, supporting the United Way of Greater Toronto..

Starting at 7:30 p.m., participants will race along Bay Street from the starting point at Bay and Adelaide Street West to Bloor Street West, then proceed eastward along Bloor to Yonge Street, southward along Yonge to Adelaide and then westward along Adelaide to the starting point.

The event will disrupt and divert buses on the 6 Bay route this evening approximately from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Southbound curb lanes remain open but northbound buses may travel along parts of Yonge Street during the event.
