July holiday service

(Update: Thursday, June 28): This listing now provides updated information on Mississauga Transit.

Canada Day, July 1, is a Sunday this year, so many municipalities are observing Monday, July 2 as a statutory holiday.

Greater Toronto Area and Hamilton transit agencies are revising their service during this long weekend because fewer people will be commuting to work while many more will be travelling by transit to beaches, parks and events. Most transit agencies will operate on Saturday, Sunday or special holiday schedules on Monday, so many routes that usually operate on weekdays may not be in service on July 2 or will operate less frequently.
