Track reconstruction closes Dufferin and Dundas intersection

From 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11 until 6 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, the ongoing City of Toronto and TTC project to reconstruct the streetcar tracks on Dundas Street will close the intersection of Dufferin and Dundas Streets. The TTC will divert transit services while the intersection is closed.

Closing the intersection affects these routes: 29 Dufferin (daytime), 329 Dufferin (overnight), 505 Dundas

Southbound buses on the 29 Dufferin (daytime) and 329 Dufferin (overnight) routes will operate along their regular route to Dufferin and College Streets, then detour eastward along College, southward along Ossington Avenue and westward along Queen Street West, resuming their regular route at Queen and Dufferin. Northbound buses will not detour and will operate along their regular route.

Eastbound streetcars on the 505 Dundas route will operate from Lansdowne and Dundas. They begin by looping westward along Dundas Street West, then proceed eastward along College, southward along Bay Street, eastward along Dundas Streets West and East, northward along Parliament Street, eastward along Gerrard Street East and northward along Broadview Avenue to Broadview Station. Westbound streetcars reverse this routing to College and Lansdowne, then proceed southward along Lansdowne Avenue to Dundas.
