Next phase of Mortimer construction began September 4



The City of Toronto project to install watermains along Mortimer Avenue between Broadview and Carlaw Avenues entered its second phase on Tuesday, September 4.

During the project, the TTC is diverting buses operating on the 62 Mortimer route from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. Westbound buses operate along their regular route. Eastbound buses operate on their regular route to Broadview and Mortimer Avenues, then continue north along Broadview, eastward along Westwood Avenue and southward along Pape Avenue, resuming their regular route at Pape and Broadview Avenues. Buses operate along their regular route before 9 a.m. and after 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday and all day on the weekend.

This phase of the project will likely end by Friday, September 7. The entire project will continue until late October.
