Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 3, buses operating on the 47 Lansdowne route will resume service along Lansdowne Avenue, between Bloor Street West and College Street. The TTC detoured buses from this section of Lansdowne on July 3, while the City of Toronto reconstructed the sidewalks and pavement and narrowed the roadway.
Also tomorrow, the TTC will reroute eastbound 505 Dundas replacement buses along the re-opened section of Lansdowne. During the next phase of the ongoing City / TTC project to reconstruct the streetcar tracks, the City will close Dundas Street West to eastbound traffic on the two bridges across the railway tracks between College Street and Sorauren Avenue.
Eastbound 505 Dundas buses will operate from Dundas West Station, as usual. They will travel southward along Dundas Street West, eastward along Bloor Street West and then southward along Lansdowne Avenue to Dundas. Westbound buses will continue along their current route from Dundas and Lansdowne: west and northward along Dundas to Dundas West Station.

(The TTC also recently ended another 47 Lansdowne detour around a City project to reconstruct Caledonia Road, south of Rogers Road.)
