October 15, the TTC increased service during Monday-to-Friday morning and afternoon peak periods. During the morning peak period, it improved the local service west of Pharmacy Avenue from every 7 minutes 30 seconds to every 6 minutes. During the afternoon peak period, it improved the local service west of Pharmacy Avenue will from every 5 minutes 15 seconds to every 4 minutes 45 seconds, and improved the express service west of Markham Road from every 6 minutes to every 5 minutes 40 seconds.

October 21, is the last day for the seasonal seven-days-a-week evening service. Starting Saturday,
October 27, the TTC will operate weekend and holiday daytime service only between Union Station and Cherry and Commissioners Streets. Buses will operate every 15 minutes on Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays and holidays.

October 9, the TTC changed the hours of service to the Toronto Zoo to match the Zoo’s earlier fall closing time. The last trip to Kennedy Station leaves the zoo at 5:32 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

Dufferin: On Sunday,
October 14, the TTC revised its service to Exhibition Place. During Monday-to-Friday peak, midday, and early evening (before 10 p.m.) periods, and during the weekend and holiday daytime period, the TTC operates every second southbound bus beyond Dufferin Gate to the Princes’ Gates on the 29D “Exhibition / Princes’ Gates” branch. At all other times, all buses operate to the Princes’ Gates. The change did not affect service levels north of Exhibition Place.

October 15, the TTC slightly changed trip times during the early part of the Monday-to-Friday morning peak period on the 129 branch to Major Mackenzie Drive. Between 5:33 and 7:07 a.m., southbound buses will leave Major Mackenzie at their previous times but serve the stops between 16th and Steeles Avenues one minute earlier. The trips that formerly left Major Mackenzie at 7:17 and 7:32 a.m. trips now leave two minutes earlier, and serve stops between 16th and Steeles Avenues one or two minutes earlier.
