Bloor West detour affects TTC and Mississauga Transit



A Transit Toronto reader reports that a major fire on Mill Road near Bloor Street West in Toronto has resulted in ongoing detours for Mississauga Transit and TTC buses.

The fire occured on October 22, but as recently as yesterday, buses on Mississauga Transit’s 3 Bloor and the TTC’s 49 Bloor West routes continued to detour around the fire site.

3 Bloor: Eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Bloor Street West and Markland Drive (western intersection), then detour north-, east- and southward around the northern half-circle of Markland, resuming their regular route at Markland and Bloor (eastern intersection). Westbound buses operate along their regular route to Bloor and Markland (eastern intersection), then detour south-, west- and northward along the southern half-circle of Markland, resuming their regular route at Markland and Bloor (western intersection.)
