Streetcars return to Dundas East, October 31



Starting Wednesday, October 31, TTC streetcars operating on the 505 Dundas route will resume service along Dundas Street East between Parliament and Victoria Streets. The TTC has diverted the cars from this part of Dundas since July 30.

The ongoing City of Toronto and TTC project to reconstruct the streetcar tracks along Dundas Street between Broadview and Howard Park Avenues continues west of College Street and east of Parliament Street.

Starting Wednesday, eastbound 505 Dundas streetcars will operate from College and Dundas Streets eastward along Dundas Streets West and East, northward along Parliament Street, eastward along Gerrard Street East and northward along Broadview Avenue to Broadview Station. Westbound cars operate from Broadview Station southward along Broadview, westward along Gerrard, southward along Parliament, westward along Dundas, northward along Lansdowne Avenue and then westward along College Street to Dundas.

The TTC will still operate buses to replace 505 Dundas streetcar service west of College Street. Eastbound buses will operate from Dundas West Station southward along Dundas Street West, eastward along Bloor Street West and southward along Lansdowne Avenue to Dundas. Westbound buses will operate from Lansdowne and Dundas west- and northward along Dundas to Dundas West Station.
