The Ontario Ministry of Transport is working to widen the Queen Elizabeth Way through Oakville. Starting Monday, November 12, it will begin a project to demolish and replace the Fourth Line bridge over the QEW.
During the project, Oakville Transit will split its peak-period 10 West Industrial route into two routes.
Buses operating on the 10 West Industrial (South) route will operate from Oakville GO Station west- and southward along Cross Street, westward along Cornwall and Speers Roads, northward along Kerr Street, westward along Wyecroft Road, South Service Road West and Wyecroft Road, into Bronte GO Station, then continuing westward along Wyecroft, southward along Bronte Road, eastward along Speers, northward along Third Line, eastward along South Service West and Wyecroft, southward along Kerr, eastward along Speers and Cornwall and then north- and eastward along Cross to Oakville GO Station.
Buses operating on the 110 West Industrial (North) route will operate from Oakville GO Station west- and southward along Cross Street, westward along Cornwall and Speers Roads, northward along Kerr Street, westward along North Service Road West, southward along Third Line and westward along Wyecroft Road into Bronte GO Station. Buses then reverse the routing to return to Oakville GO Station.
