Beyond Lansdowne:
Streetcars roll along Dundas West

Starting Saturday, December 15 — for the first time since February 18 — 505 Dundas streetcars will resume operating along their entire regular route between Dundas West and Broadview Stations.

On Saturday, the TTC and the City of Toronto will have finished the last phase of their long-term project to rebuild the street car tracks along Dundas Street between Howard Park and Broadview Avenues. The last phase involved rebuilding both the streetcar tracks and the bridge between Sorauren and Lansdowne Avenues. That bridge had been closed since June 25.

Finishing the project to reconstruct the bridge and the streetcar tracks also affects service on the 306 Carlton (overnight) and 506 Carlton (daytime) route. Starting Saturday, 306 cars will resume their regular route between Dundas West and Main Street Stations and 506 cars will resume their regular route between High Park and Main Street Station.
