GO Transit will make several minor changes to its schedules, starting Saturday, January 5.
The changes affect these routes: 21 Milton; 27 Milton Highway 401; 42 Bolton; 71 Stouffville.
42 Bolton: Starting Monday, January 7, GO will split the schedule for this route into two, adjust times and revise the locations of some stops. Trips on the Bolton Highway 50 service link Highway 50 (Queen Street North Bolton) and Columbia Way with Malton GO Station, where you can connect to trains on the 31 Georgetown route. Trips on the Bolton Highway 27 service connect Albion-Vaughan and Industrial Roads with Nobleton, Kleinburg, Yorkdale and York Mills. On some of these Highway 27 trips, you can connect with trains on the 31 Georgetown route at Etobicoke North GO Station. Revised 42 Bolton schedules. 21 Milton: Starting Monday, January 7, weekday eastbound train trips will leave Lisgar GO Station one minute earlier than currently at 6:31, 6:56, 7:16, 7:31, 7:46 and 8:06 a.m. Starting Saturday, January 5, GO will add many more bus trips to its Saturday, Sunday and holiday schedules. 27 Milton Highway 401: Starting Monday, January 7, GO will adjust the schedule so that most eastbound trips arrive at Finch GO Terminal about five minutes later than currently. Many westbound trips will leave Finch later than currently and most trips will arrive at Milton later than currently. 71 Stouffville: Starting Monday, January 7, a new weekday northbound bus trip will leave Union Station at 12:10 p.m., making all regular stops and arriving at Stouffville GO Station at 1:07 p.m.
Note that the Amalgamated Transit Union has advised GO that it will begin job action at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, January 7. If job action begins, GO will not operate bus service. GO train service will continue.
