Marathon meetings between union and management on Friday have successfully prevented a potential strike by GO bus drivers on Monday. The Globe and Mail has further details.
GO Transit and the union representing its bus drivers, ticket agents, maintenance workers and office staff reached a tentative agreement at 9 p.m. Friday night. The deal still has to be ratified by the workers, but commuters can now be assured of their trips on Monday morning, and don’t have to make alternate arrangements.
