Buses resume service through Exhibition Loop

Starting yesterday, Wednesday, April 9, at 6 a.m. the TTC resumed bus service through the eastern loop at Exhibition Place.

The City of Toronto and TTC project to reconstruct the streetcar tracks along Fleet Street will continue until April, so streetcars have not resumed service into the Loop.

310 Bathurst (overnight): Southbound buses operate along their regular route to Bathurst and Fleet Streets, then continue southward along Bathurst, westward along Lake Shore Boulevard West, northward along Strachan Avenue and then into Exhibition Loop. Northbound buses reverse this routing.

509 Harbourfront: Eastbound buses begin at Exhibition Loop, then proceed southward along Strachan Avenue and then eastward along Lake Shore Boulevard West to Bathurst Street, resuming their regular routing southward along Bathurst. Westbound buses reverse this routing.

During the ongoing Fleet Street track reconstruction project, streetcars on the 511 Bathurst route continue to operate to Union Station and 509 Harbourfront buses replace the 509 Harbourfront streetcars, operating between the Exhibition and Lower Spadina Avenue only.
