The board of Metrolinx — the Greater Toronto Transportation Authority — will meet on Friday, January 25 at 10 a.m. in the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel, 1 Harbour Square, Convention Level, Pier 1 and 2 (at Bay Street and Queens Quay West).
This is a public meeting. You can view the agenda here.
During the meeting, Metrolinx staff will present two more “green papers” towards developing a regional transportation plan.
One green paper examines ways to improve how we use transit stations by developing them into mobility hubs. Mobility hubs combine transportation uses with other land uses, including residential and commercial.
The second green paper reviews opportunities, barriers, and innovative practices for increasing the role of active transportation in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton region.
