Wintery weather again interferes with transit services

Update, 4 p.m.: GO is now advising passengers that buses operating on the 48 Highway 407 West route are not entering the Bronte Carpool Lot. Buses will pick up passengers on Bronte Road instead of in the lot.

For the second time in a week, a major winter storm has passed over the Greater Toronto Area, dumping large amounts of snow, particularly in areas beyond the City of Toronto.

The snowfall is delaying transit services throughout the area. GO Transit reports that its buses are operating 40 minutes later than schedule. York Region Transit is advising commuters that buses on all its routes are operating between 10 and 30 minutes later than schedule.
