Starting tomorrow, Friday, February 8 at 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. on Monday, Feburary 11, the City of Toronto will partially close the intersection of Bay Street and Front Street West for sewer construction.
The TTC will divert services on these routes during the project: 6 Bay, 65 Parliament, 172 Cherry Street, 320 Yonge (overnight).
6 Bay: Southbound buses operate along their regular route to Bay Street and Wellington Street West, then detour westward along Wellington, southward along University Avenue and York Street and then eastward along Harbour Street, resuming their regular route southward along Bay. Northbound buses do not detour and operate along their regular route. 172 Cherry Street: After 9 a.m., Saturday, February 9 and Sunday, February 10, northbound buses will operate along their regular route to Wellington Street West and Bay Street, then continue westward along Wellington, southward along Simcoe Street and then eastward along Front Street West, resuming their regular southbound route eastward along Front. (Buses do not operate on the 172 Cherry Street route Mondays to Fridays.) 65 Parliament: Before 9 a.m., Saturday, February 9, southbound buses will operate along their regular route to Wellington Street West and Bay Street, then continue westward along Wellington, southward along Simcoe Street and then eastward along Front Street West, resuming their regular northbound route eastward along Front. (Buses on the 65 Parliament route regularly travel to Union Station early on Saturday mornings.) 320 Yonge (overnight): Southbound buses operate along their regular route to Wellington Street West and Bay Street, then continue westward along Wellington, southward along University Avenue and York Street and then eastward along Harbour Street, resuming their regular northbound route northward along Bay.
