Mayor David Miller and the chair of the Toronto Transit Commission, Councillor Adam Giambrone, will host a media event at the Arrow Garage, 700 Arrow Road, tomorrow, Thursday, February 14 at 10 a.m.
The Mayor and Councillor will likely announce that the TTC is increasing the frequency of service on nearly 50 routes throughout the city at all times of the week. After Sunday, February 17, the TTC will probably begin to operate more than 30 new buses during Monday-to-Friday rush hours, and add 4,000 more hours of rush-hour service to its schedules.
We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out for sure. Regardless, Transit Toronto will post details of the changes later this week.
