Update, February 28, 7 p.m.: Transit Toronto reader Chris White reports that this construction project did not take place last weekend and is now scheduled for the weekend of February 29 to March 4.
The ongoing TTC and City of Toronto project to reconstruct the streetcar track allowance along St. Clair Avenue West will affect the intersection of St. Clair and Lansdowne Avenues this weekend.
Starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, February 22 until the late afternoon on Tuesday, February 26, some lanes of the intersection will be closed and the TTC will divert transit services. (The TTC and City originally scheduled this project for last weekend.)
47 Lansdowne: Southbound buses will operate along their regular route. Northbound buses that are operating along Caledonia Road to Yorkdale Station on the 47B and 47C branches will operate along their regular route to Lansdowne Avenue and the southern entrance into Earlscourt Loop. The buses will then continue through the Loop to St. Clair Avenue West, then continue along their regular route westward along St. Clair. The detour will not affect buses on the 47 branch which end their trips at St. Clair.
312 St. Clair (overnight) and 512 St. Clair: Buses will operate along their regular routes.
