After 9 p.m. tonight, Thursday, February 21, all GO Transit trains on the 01 Lakeshore West route will begin and end their trips at Burlington GO Station.

This week’s freight train derailment damaged the tracks just east of Aldershot GO Station. Tonight, CN will finish repairing the tracks and that wil require it to cancel all service through Aldershot.

All trains leaving Union Station at 8:43 p.m. and every hour afterwards will end their trips at Burlington. Trains that usually leave Aldershot at 10:08 and 11:08 p.m. instead will leave Burlington at 10:14 and 11:14 p.m. GO buses will shuttle passengers between Burlington and Aldershot Stations.

GO resumes regular Aldershot train service tomorrow morning.
