St. Clair project Phase 3 open house, April 9

The third phase of the ongoing City of Toronto and TTC project to build a dedicated right-of-way for streetcars along St. Clair Avenue West will start soon. The third phase involves rebuilding the tracks between Westmount Avenue and Vaughan Road.

The City and TTC are hosting an open house so you can get more details on this phase of the project and how it will affect you. You’ll have a chance to find out about the construction schedule, see the proposed streetscape design and ask TTC and City staff questions about the project. You’ll also learn that the TTC has decided to keep the stop at Wychwood Avenue, despite its earlier plan for the streetcars to skip that stop.

The event takes place on Wednesday, April 9 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at:

St. Alphonsus Elementary School (Gym)
60 Atlas Avenue
(two blocks north of St. Clair Avenue West).

The second phase of the project — rebuilding the tracks between McRoberts and Westmount Avenues — will continue until the summer.
