DEAL REACHED: NO STRIKE!

We have a deal!

An 11th hour tentative deal has been worked out between the TTC and it’s Labour Unions. Many transit riders had been worried that a system-wide strike could paralyze the city; meanwhile the province mused about back-to-work legislation and making the TTC an essential service. With the high-pressure situation flying towards the point of no return, word is that a tentative deal has been reached, and that there will be no strike. While Union members still have to ratify the deal, hopes are high that this will happen, and that transit in Toronto will continue to operate as normal.
