Canada’s Wonderland is opening for the season on Sunday, May 4 and the TTC and other Greater Toronto Area transit agencies are ready to carry their passengers to the park throughout the summer.
Starting Sunday, May 4, the TTC will extend its regular 165A Weston Road North local route into Wonderland on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays until October.
Southbound buses operating on the route will begin their trips beside the Wonderland employee’s entrance then leave the park by the Jane Street access gate north or Major Mackenzie Drive. They then continue:
southward along Jane;
westward along Major Mackenzie;
southward along Weston Road;
through the Weston / Albion Road / Walsh Avenue interchange;
southeastward along Albion and Walsh;
eastward along Wilson Avenue,
passing through Wilson Station; and then continuing
eastward along Wilson to York Mills Station.Northbound buses reverse this route.
GO Transit also resumes its seven-day-a-week 60 Canada’s Wonderland express service from York Mills and Yorkdale Stations to the park on Sunday, May 4.
York Region Transit resumed its seven-day-a-week local service to the park on Sunday, April 27 on the 4 Major Mackenzie and 20 Jane-Concord routes.
Brampton Transit resumes express service between the Bramalea Terminal and Wonderland on Saturday, May 17. Buses will operate on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only until June 28, when they begin to operate seven days a week. Mississauga Transit resumes express service between the Mississauga City Centre Terminal at Square One and Wonderland on Saturday, May 17. Buses will operate on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only until June 28, when they begin to operate seven days a week.
