Oshawa construction detours buses, starting today



Starting at 10:30 a.m. today, Saturday, May 3, the City of Oshawa has closed Mary Streets North and South between William and Athol Streets East for a construction project.

Durham Region Transit will detour buses operating on the 7 Riston and 11 Grandview routes during the project.

11 Grandview:

Westbound buses operate along their regular route to Ritson Road South and Athol Street East, then detour:

northward along Ritson; and then
westward along Bond Streets East to Mary Street North,
resuming their regular route westward along Bond.

Eastbound buses operate along their regular route to King Street East and Mary Street, then detour:

eastward along King; and then
southward along Ritson Road South to Athol Street East,
resuming their regular route southward along Ritson.

7 Ritson:

Southbound buses operate along their regular route to Mary Street North and Brock Street East, then detour:

westward along Brock Streets East and West; and then
southward along Centre Street North to William Street West,
resuming their regular route southward along Centre.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Simcoe Street North and William Street, then detour:

northward along Simcoe; and then
eastward along Colborne Street East to Mary Street North,
resuming their regular route northward along Mary.
