Reviewing March and April construction

Lost track of the construction projects that Transit Toronto has listed during the past few months? Need to know whether construction or emergencies are still diverting a route that you use? this post reviews the status of construction projects and any detours resulting from construction or fires and other emergencies that affected public transit in March and April.

The construction affects (or has affected) these routes:

Brampton Transit — 4 Chinguacousy, 15 Bramalea, 18 Dixie.

Burlington Transit — 3 Guelph.

Durham Region Transit — Flag Buses 1 and 2 and Specialized Services, R6 Bay Ridges, 7 Ritson, 11 Grandview, 14 Oshawa Community Bus, 501 Liberty.

Brampton Transit

15 Bramalea

Buses did not pick up passengers along Father Tobin Drive during construction.

Buses do not pick up passengers along Wanless Drive or Brisdale Drive and Chinguacousy Road north of Botavia Downs Drive during construction.

Burlington Transit

3 Guelph

Northbound buses serve temporary stop north of Harvester Road at 901 Guelph Line, during construction of intersection of the Guelph and Harvester.

Durham Region Transit

Flag Buses 1 and 2 and DRT specialized services

During the Rouge Valley Health System’s project to expand its Ajax-Pickering campus, flag and specialized services buses won’t stop at the hospital’s west entrance.

R6 Bay Ridges

Construction on Douglas Avenue and Front Road.

11 Grandview

Construction on Mary Street.

Oakville Transit

110 West Industrial (North)

Reconstruction of Fourth Line overpass across the Queen Elizabeth Way. Buses operating on the 110 West Industrial North route replace the north half of the regular 10 West Industrial route.

10 West Industrial (South)

Reconstruction of Fourth Line overpass across the Queen Elizabeth Way. Buses operating on the 110 West Industrial North route replace the north half of the regular route.

TTC

1 Yonge-University-Spadina Subway

Replace subway track equipment; subway runs in two parts between Downsview and St. Clair West and between Finch and Union. Shuttle buses connect St. Clair West and Union.
