Acton construction diverts GO buses

Starting this morning, Tuesday, May 12 until the start of regular transit service on Friday, May 16, GO Transit will divert buses on its 31 Georgetown route. The detour results from road construction in downtown Acton.

Eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Main Street North and St. Alban’s Drive, the detour:

eastward along St. Alban’s; and then
southward along Willow Street North to Mill Street East,
resuming their regular route eastward along Mill.

Eastbound passengers who usually board the buses at Main and Mill can flag the buses to stop along Mill east of Willow.

Westbound buses reverse this routing.

Westbound passengers who usually board the buses at Mill and Main can flag the buses to stop along Main north of St. Alban’s.

The detour is identical to a similar detour on Friday, August 17, 2007.
