Starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 23 until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, the City of Toronto will completely close the intersection of Bathurst Street and Davenport Road to through traffic. Closing the street will allow City and TTC crews to continue their project to rebuild the streetcar tracks along Bathurst.
In addition to the longer-term detours of the 7B Bathurst bus, 26 Dupont bus and 512 St. Clair buses and streetcars that the TTC previously announced, it will also divert buses on the 127 Davenport route while the intersection is closed next weekend.
Eastbound buses will operate along their regular route to Davenport Road and Christie Street, then detour:
southward along Christie; and then
eastward along Dupont Street to Spadina Road,
resuming their regular route southward along Spadina.
Westbound buses will reverse this routing.
You can see a map of the detour route here. (.pdf)
