TTC equips more buses with bike racks, starting May 26



Just in time for the start of Bike Month, the TTC will start operating 17 more routes with buses that carry bike racks on Monday, May 26. After Monday, the TTC will operate buses with bike racks on 24 routes.

The TTC will equip all buses operating on these routes with bike racks starting Monday:
61 Avenue Road North
125 Drewry
329 Dufferin
105 Dufferin North
193 Exhibition Rocket
39 Finch East
14 Glencairn
38 Highland Creek
129 McCowan North
133 Neilson
63 Ossington
316 Ossington
134 Progress
109 Ranee
85 Sheppard East
53 Steeles East
98 Willowdale-Senlac

The TTC already equips all buses operating on the 7 Bathurst, 29 Dufferin, 47 Lansdowne, 98 Willowdale-Senlac, 161 Rogers Road, 310 Bathurst and 329 Dufferin routes with bike racks. All TTC buses will have bike racks by the end of 2010.

You can easily load and unload your bike from the bike racks. Each rack can hold two bikes and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You pay your regular fare, but your bike rides for free.
