Next open houses for Sheppard East LRT, June 3 and 4

The City of Toronto and the TTC are holding two more open houses to present the design that City and TTC staff are recommending for the Sheppard Avenue East light rail transit (LRT) line, including where they will locate the stops, how they propose to separate Sheppard from GO Transit’s Stouffville line around Agincourt Station and how they intend to connect the LRT to the 4 Sheppard subway.

You can drop by the open houses from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on:

Tuesday, June 3
Agincourt Collegiate
2621 Midland Avenue
(just north of Sheppard Avenue East)

You can see a map of the open house location here.

Wednesday, June 4
Malvern Community Centre Gymnasium
30 Sewells Road
(east of Neilson Road)

You can see a map of the open house location here.

At the June 4 open house staff will also present information on extending the 03 Scarborough Rapid Transit (RT) line to Sheppard Avenue — and possibly, further north-east.

The TTC and City hosted two earlier open houses the proposed Sheppard East LRT on April 15 and 17. You can view the presentation materials from those open houses here. TTC and City staff used feedback from people who attended the first open houses to modify their plans for the Sheppard East LRT.
