Revised detour at Lansdowne and St. Clair

Some Transit Toronto readers are reporting that City of Toronto and TTC construction at St. Clair Avenue West and Lansdowne Avenue has progressed, so that buses on the 47 Lansdowne route are again travelling along Lansdowne.

Southbound buses on the 47 B and 47C branches from Yorkdale Station are again travelling southward along Caledonia Road, eastward along St. Clair and then southward along Lansdowne. Northbound buses are reversing this routing.

Since Earlscourt Loop is still under construction, buses on the 47 branch continue to loop on the street. Southbound buses start their trips on Lansdowne just south of St. Clair. Northbound proceed along their regular route to Lansdowne and Davenport Road, then loop westward along Davenport, northward along Caledonia Park Road and then eastward along St. Clair.

The construction at St. Clair and Lansdowne started on April 14 and is part of the ongoing City and TTC project to improve transit service along St. Clair.
