Transit City continues...
Don Mills LRT open houses, June 10, 17, 18

button_transitcity.jpgTransit City is continuing to take shape.

The City of Toronto’s and TTC’s next steps in developing Transit City, an extensive light rail transit (LRT) network, start June 10 when they host three open houses for the proposed Don Mills line.

The plan would replace the buses on Don Mills Road with modern electric-power LRT vehicles operating in dedicated transit lanes, apart from cars, trucks and other vehicles.

At these three open houses, City and TTC will showcase the light rail transit route, some early design concepts, and identify issues. You can drop by anytime to learn about what the TTC and City proposing and what they hope to achieve, offer your feedback, comments and ideas and get answers to any questions you may have.

The sessions take place:

Rosedale Heights School for the Arts,

Tuesday, June 17,
