The Regional Municipality of York has started several environmental assessments for improving roads in the Town of Markham as part of a larger transportation strategy to increase transit use, manage travel demand and promote alternative modes of travel.
The Region will host two public information forums in Unionville this week to help residents to learn about these projects and what impact they will have on their neighbourhoods and about the Region’s plans for co-ordinating and integrating any projects to improve transportation and transit.
