YRT open houses on 2009 service planning start June 10



Every year, York Region Transit hosts open houses, public information centres and transit workshops to hear what you have to say. Your feedback helps YRT improve how its buses operate along routes, increases your accessibility to transit services and increases transit ridership.

Find out what YRT has planned for your area, including:

  • Proposed routing changes
  • Service expansion plans
  • General service improvements

You can also ask questions and discuss the proposed plans with YRT staff.


Open houses:

In southern York Region, the open house takes place:
Tuesday, June 10
7 until 9 p.m.
1st Floor, Corporate Learning Rooms A and B
York Region South Service Centre
50 High Tech Road, Richmond Hill.

In northern York Region, the open house takes place:
Monday, June 16
7 until 9 p.m.
1st Floor, Seminar Room
York Region Administrative Centre
17250 Yonge Street, Newmarket

Newmarket Terminal
Thursday, June 12
3 until 6 p.m.

Richmond Hill Centre Terminal
Wednesday, June 18

Promenade Terminal

Transit workshop in the Oak Ridges community:

Tuesday, June 17
7 until 9 p.m.
